Co Immediate Past-President SHEILA BANNISTER, RDH, BS Sheila is currently a full time faculty member at the Vermont Technical College Department of Dental Hygiene. She has been a practicing registered dental hygienist since 1999 when she graduated from the Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists in Massachusetts. Sheila’s interests lie in the area of community oral health and increasing access to oral health care for all Vermonters. She has served as a President and co-President of VDHA, and is now Immediate Past-President and legislative chair for the organization. Sheila lives in Northfield with her husband Steven.

Co Immediate Past-President Tina Marshall, RDH, M.Ed. Tina Marshall graduated from the University of Vermont in 1981 with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene, and in 1983 received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education. She completed a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Vermont in 2002. Tina is currently an Associate Professor in the Dental Hygiene Program at Vermont Technical College, providing instruction in the areas of General Pathology and Pharmacology, Dental Radiology, and in the second-year clinical program of the Associate’s degree program, and in Educational Methodology and Leadership in the Bachelor’s degree completion program. Tina also serves as chapter advisor to the Student Members of the Dental Hygienists’ Association at Vermont Tech. Tina has been active in the ADHA/VDHA for the last twenty years by serving as Chair of the Membership Committee, Chair of the Continuing Education Committee, a member of the Annual Meeting Committee, and President. She has also served as a delegate, alternate delegate, or a reference committee member at the ADHA Annual Session for the past six years. In addition, Tina is a member of the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene National Honor Society. Tina provides part-time clinical care for patients at Associates for Dental Care in Swanton, Vermont, where she has worked for the past nineteen years. Tina lives in Georgia, Vermont, with her husband Jeffrey, and enjoys gardening, traveling, yoga, biking, and Nordic skiing. |
