The Tooth Tutor Dental Access Program:  Dental Professionals working in preschools and schools to ensure that all children have access to a dental home. Tooth Tutors work with local dentists, school staff, parents and kids to address barriers and link every child to a dental home for preventive, comprehensive and continuous care and to  raise awareness about oral health in the community.   Approximately half of the elementary schools in Vermont employ a Tooth Tutor. This is a paid position.
