Tina Marshall, RDH, M.Ed.

Tina Marshall graduated from the University of Vermont in 1981 with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene, and in 1983 received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education.  After many years working full-time in clinical practice in Vermont and Massachusetts, Tina began a career as a half-time faculty member in the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Vermont in 1997.  She completed a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Vermont in 2002.  Tina is currently an Assistant Professor in the Dental Hygiene Program at Vermont Technical College, providing instruction in the areas of General Pathology and Pharmacology, Dental Radiology, Educational Methodology and Leadership, and in the second-year clinical program. Tina also serves as co-advisor of SADHA, the Student Members of the Dental Hygienists’ Association.
     

 Tina has been active in VDHA for the last seventeen years by serving as Chair of the Membership Committee, Chair of the Continuing Education Committee, a member of the Annual Meeting Committee, and President.  She is also a member of the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene National Honor Society.  In addition to teaching, Tina is employed in clinical practice with Dr. Kevin Brown in Swanton, Vermont, where she has worked for the past seventeen years.  Tina lives in Georgia, Vermont, with her husband Jeffrey, and enjoys gardening, traveling, and Nordic skiing.
